Production typically involves organizing multiple sonic layers on separate DAW tracks. The volume control of each track on a DAW has been offered with sliders like a mixing console.
But what about the creative manipulation of the balance of the DAW tracks at once? There has been no practical solution or engine to creatively manipulate the balance of the DAW tracks simultaneously in real time.
VOLBot fills this gap by enabling you to creatively and stochastically manipulate the volume balance across your entire mix in ways never before possible.
A Fleet
of Bots
VOLBot is a super LFO (Low Frequency Oscillator) which modulates the intensity, gain and amplitude of its input signal.
It uses a distributed plugin architecture where a VOLBot server communicates with VOLBot clients on other tracks in real time.
This fleet of bots working together across your mix creates unprecedented possibilities for dynamic volume sculpting and stochastic audio modulation.
Complex CV Generator
VOLBot also serves as a complex CV generator. It can generate pitch scales and pitch quantize its output with many available tune scales, making it far more than a simple volume tool.
