sonicLAB exclusively provides technical support for the latest versions of its software.

The company prioritizes compatibility with current environments rather than legacy systems. Users bear responsibility for maintaining updated operating systems, DAWs, and related components. sonicLAB assumes no liability for how older software versions perform on newly released platforms.

Privacy

sonicLAB collects minimal information to ensure software compatibility and account access:

  • Operating system details
  • DAW software version
  • iLOK Account ID (for registration)

Purchase & Return Policy

Customers receive a perpetual license to use the specific software version acquired upon purchase.

All sales are final. Once a sonicLAB software license has been purchased and registered to your computer, no refunds or returns will be issued.

  • iLOK Account ID required for license registration
  • Up to two simultaneous computer activations allowed
  • Licenses cannot be transferred between accounts or sold
  • sonicLAB is not responsible for facilitating the transfer of iLOK licenses

Upgrade Policy

sonicLAB is committed to ongoing research and development, prioritizing the implementation of innovative features over mere maintenance. Products are thoroughly tested, though minor bugs or compatibility issues may occasionally arise between updates.

Priority is given to the newest operating systems; older versions may experience conflicts. Upgrades are typically offered at intervals of no less than two years, with substantial feature additions.

Customers receive a perpetual license to use the purchased version, though sonicLAB does not guarantee ongoing compatibility with future operating systems without paid upgrades.

Academic licensing is available — students must provide valid enrollment proof; without it, standard pricing applies.

Upgrading your computer or operating system will eventually necessitate a software upgrade. Developing professional audio software requires significant ongoing investment in expertise, research, and infrastructure.
