for some people who experience the above crash while starting Cosmosƒ, please update your OSX to latest version 10.8.3. It seems there has been some change in between updates of Apple, somehow the latest OSX version has solved it.

If you set the MacroEVLength to 20ms. (e.g. 880 samples) and meso/micro event density to 9 (e.g. 81 micro events distributed in one cycle), you will have 880/81 = 10 samples for each micro event to define your waveform without any pitch scaling. There things start to get uncertain!

This last update of 2012 offers a wide range of LFO waveforms, from harmonic oscillators to different types of random functions. Also backwards and randomly directed sample waveform playback is possible. + many improvements on the user interface and handling..

great, there is no single issue reported from the customers regarding the installation or about hardware compatibility with the Cosmosƒ V2 for both OSX and Windows7…
it works on OSX and Windows7 both on a fast computer of course. Just you need to make sure that the OSC setting is different for each instance of Cosmosƒ. Otherwise the OSC addresses will clash.
To change the OSC address setting, please edit the CosmosF_Settings.xml file in the data folder of Cosmosƒ as mentioned also in the manual.
I believe that this can be very interesting for live performance situations….
…..I recommend using an Intel i7 processor (or equivalent AMD) computer for smooth operation on Cosmosƒ V2. To be honest, Inter Core2 Duo is not efficient for running Cosmosƒ V2.

Cosmosƒ V2 comes only with presets 0-5. Presets for such an application are like photo snapshots of a big city. You have to live in to grasp the real experience… Please watch the demo videos and the tutorials in the documents section.
..almost a year ago, the first lines of code for the Cosmosƒ were written. Now reaching more then 10000! lines of code, Cosmosƒ V2 is released. It is an amazing tool for sound design…
this is an exciting update, and also was a though one to realize.
Actually can’t wait to release it but just needs a week more for
documentation and further hands-on testing.
